Who is Peace Keepers Motorcycle Club (PKMC)?

PKMC is a motorcycle club founded in 2001 that brings together riders who share a background in public service and a commitment to honor, integrity, brotherhood, and community involvement.

Is PKMC a 1% or outlaw motorcycle club?

No. PKMC is a law-abiding, community-oriented motorcycle club. It emphasizes responsible riding, positive community presence, and cooperation with other clubs and organizations.

Do I need to own a motorcycle to join?

Yes. PKMC is a motorcycle club, and active riding is a core part of membership. Specific bike requirements and expectations are typically discussed during the prospecting process.

Does PKMC have chapters in different locations?

Yes. PKMC operates through multiple chapters across different regions. Each chapter follows the same core values and bylaws while serving its local community.

Does PKMC associate with 1% or outlaw motorcycle clubs?

PKMC makes a clear and deliberate distinction between the term “outlaw” as it is sometimes broadly applied to non-AMA-sanctioned motorcycle clubs, and motorcycle clubs that have been documented as engaging in criminal or unlawful activity. PKMC does not associate with clubs or supporter clubs that have been found to break the law. While PKMC recognizes that the “outlaw” label is often inaccurately applied to clubs operating outside AMA sanctioning, the club maintains firm boundaries rooted in legality, accountability, and community responsibility. PKMC is also a member of Federation of Law Abiding Clubs (FLAC), further reinforcing its commitment to lawful operation, structured cooperation among clubs, and positive engagement within the broader motorcycle community.

Is PKMC a law enforcement club?

PKMC is not a law enforcement organization. It is a Law Enforcement (LE) club, primarily made up of current and former first responders, military personnel, and public safety professionals. The club operates independently and focuses on fellowship, riding, and service.

Who is eligible for membership?

Membership is selective. Generally, eligibility is limited to individuals with a background in public service (law enforcement, fire, EMS, military, or related fields) who also meet the club’s character, conduct, and commitment standards.

How does the membership process work?

Prospective members go through a structured and deliberate process designed to ensure shared values, compatibility, and commitment. This may include an application, interviews, a prospect period, and approval by the chapter.

Is PKMC a non-profit organization?

Yes. PKMC is organized as a not-for-profit, supporting charitable causes and community initiatives aligned with the club’s mission and values.
